Shipping and Turnaround

Two clocks run on every order: production and shipping. They are not the same thing, and we quote them separately so you know what you are actually waiting for.

Production time

Production starts when two things are done: your payment has cleared and your artwork is approved. Not when you click Place order.

Typical production windows, in business days, Monday through Friday, holidays excluded:

  • Business cards, flyers, postcards, brochures: 2 to 4 days
  • Banners, coroplast, aluminum signs, vinyl: 2 to 4 days
  • Roll ups, tents and displays: 3 to 7 days
  • Merch and apparel: 7 to 14 days
  • Design services: first proof in 1 to 3 days

Artwork approved after 12:00 p.m. Pacific starts the next business day. The exact date for your job is on your order confirmation. If a product page states a different window, the product page wins.

Shipping time

Shipping is added on top of production. Ground service inside the continental United States runs 1 to 5 business days depending on how far you are from the plant that produced the job.

Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico take longer and cost more. We ship to all 50 states.

Shipping cost is confirmed with your address

Freight for printed goods depends on weight, box size and destination, so the real number only exists once we have your full address. Anything before that is an estimate.

If the final cost comes in meaningfully different, we email you first. We never add a charge to your order without telling you.

Large orders sometimes ship in several boxes, and sometimes from more than one facility, so parts of the same order can arrive on different days. Your tracking will show that.

Local pickup in Los Angeles

Pickup is free. Choose it at checkout, or reply to your confirmation email and we will switch you over.

We email you when the job is finished, with the address, the hours and what to bring. Bring your order reference. We hold finished work for 14 days.

Rush work

Sometimes possible, not always. It depends on the product and the press schedule. Ask before you order, not after. We would rather tell you no than miss your date.

Delays

Weather, carrier backlogs and address corrections happen. When a job slips we email you the day we know, not the day it was due.

Once a carrier has the box, delivery is in their hands. We chase a lost or stuck shipment with you, and we reprint if it is gone for good.
